As domestic demand has been declining, we began considering expanding our sales channels overseas. During this time, we observed one of our business partners developing its operations in Thailand, which led us to believe that there could be strong demand in the Thai market. As a result, we decided to pursue the development of sales channels in Thailand.

Previously, we conducted business negotiations overseas on a business-trip basis, mainly with Japanese restaurants. However, we felt that focusing only on Japanese restaurants had its limitations.
This time, the greatest benefit was that the local staff of Thai CCI carried out activities on the ground, enabling us to build a local network. We strongly felt that local expertise and connections are essential to expanding sales channels in Thailand.
In addition, gaining insight into local ways of thinking and having the opportunity to engage in discussions with local professionals has been a valuable asset for us.
