The background of consultation
Background of the project
In response to the changing business environment in recent years, we recognized the urgent need to shift from a traditionally Japan‑led, top‑down management style to a more localized, Thailand‑driven, bottom‑up approach.
We had long felt that our Thai staff were focused primarily on routine tasks and following assigned instructions, and that leadership—defined as acting with ownership for the organization and the team—was insufficiently demonstrated. This situation made it increasingly important to strengthen local leadership capabilities and establish a management structure in which Thai employees play a more proactive and strategic role.
Why Our Client Chose CC Innovation
We sought support from TCCI because we had limited in-house expertise in talent development and recognized the need for external guidance. After learning that TCCI also provides capability-building programs for Thai staff, we approached them for consultation.
TCCI conducted interviews with our Thai employees to understand their current situation and designed a tailored training program accordingly. We were particularly impressed by the workshop-based, highly participatory training style, which led us to engage TCCI for our talent development initiative.*

- Training programs were designed based on interviews conducted not only with Japanese staff but also with Thai employees.
Talent development initiatives were aligned with the competency model defined in our HR framework.
We conducted pre- and post-training assessment tests, followed by a final report on learning outcomes.
"TCCI’s experiential training program was easy for both manufacturing and administrative employees to understand. Through concrete examples and hands-on practice during the sessions, participants were able to clearly visualize the expected behaviors defined in our evaluation system, as well as areas for improvement.Participants also shared positive feedback, such as “It gave us an opportunity to discuss organizational issues that we normally do not talk about,” and “It helped me understand perspectives from other departments.” We strongly expect that the learnings from this program will not only improve short-term skills but also generate a lasting, positive impact on our organization."
